Dr Ahmed Mohamed Elshal is working as.

• Professor of Endourology and minimally invasive surgery, head of prostate unit, Mansoura urology and nephrology center, Mansoura University, Egypt.

He had postdoctoral fellowship studying role of lasers in management of prostatic disorders in McGill prostate center, Montreal, QC, Canada (2011-2012).

He got medical doctorate (MD) Degree in Urology “advanced laser prostate techniques” March 2014

He had more than 60 international publications in peer-reviewed journals.

His research work was presented in more than 25 international conferences.

He coedited many prestigious books including book chapters in Smith’s Textbook of Endourology.

He organized many workshops and masterclasses in prostate enucleation techniques and endourologic management of stone disease in many countries.

He was honored several prizes for his scientific contribution.

He had surgical innovations including his technique in laser prostatectomy “veil sparing HoLEP”
